F3B WC 2011 Update #4

  • Already checked-in teams; Australia, China, Czech Republic, Hong-Kong, France, Japan, Russia, South Africa and USA. Hopefuly I didn’t miss anybody.
  • I was asking organizer to provide exact GPS coordinates, complete picture set from airfield area and near surroundings. I insist on this and they are aware.
  • I was asking organizer to send personal letter to all missing teams; mainly Europe.

I can understand that my actual role after resignation can be a bit unclear. Therefore you can read my correspodence with Ralf Decker.

Hello Ralf,
you are correct. Can be a bit confusing, but not so much. I will try to explain.

-On my website you can read I resigned, nothing changed. I repeat, I RESIGNED. Hardly you will find on my website I revoked/withdrew my resignation.

-Now I’d like to keep F3B community informed what’s going on until organizer will be 100% consolidated. I guess, I’m the only source of information about F3B WC right now.

-FAI voted for China; not me. Europe is mostly boycotting China. I don’t wonder. Seems to me I was enough critical to China approach and every ICQ session is Yiwen desperate from me.

-Yeah, rest of F3B Europe is just sitting in cofee bar and with grin watching what will happen. I’m trying to support teams which are already checked-in. This is my mission now.

-Every moment I can overhand this agenda to anybody else. He/she(?) can expect only nice, funny, free off charge trip to China. I will just say, enjoy!

Roman

P.S.
Thank you very much you shifted F3B Munich to not-conflict date. Should I understand it the date at www.f3b.de will be modified to 9.-11.9.2011?

As regards German team, sure they should be at WC where ever it will be.
I already asked organizer to contact personally all missing teams, it’s theirs concern not mine.

> Hello Roman,
> I am a little astonished that you are the contest director of the WC in
> China again. Some days ago everybody could read on your homepage that the WC
> in China “is not your cup of tea”.
> As you know the „Oktoberfestpokal“ in Munich and the start of the WC in
> China is at the same date.
> To give all pilots who will take part at the WC in China the opportunity to
> visit the “Oktoberfestpokal” we shifted the date two weeks earlier. Anyhow
> the time is too short to send the scoreboard-device to China, also by

> If you like to know whether the German team will take part at the WC in
> China or not, please asked Hansi.
